Genmar S.A. has proudly been a trusted Tunisian shipping agency since its establishment in May 1995. We specialize in providing professional, efficient, and comprehensive maritime services from the ports of Tunis, La Goulette, and Rades. Over the years, our team has grown significantly, and our services have expanded to meet the dynamic needs of the shipping industry. With years of experience, we are now one of the leading agencies in the region, recognized for our dedication, reliability, and expertise.

Our Story

The Beginning

When Genmar S.A. was founded, it started as an independent ship agency with a small team of just four people. In its first six months, the company handled 95 vessel consignments, primarily from conventional cargo ships. Operating out of a small office space, we were determined to provide high-quality services, despite the challenges posed by limited resources.

Growth & Expansion

In just one year, we doubled our activities, which led to a critical need for more space and additional personnel. By 1997, Genmar expanded its operations and purchased a new facility, which could accommodate up to 80 employees. This allowed us to continue growing and provide a higher level of service to our customers. We added qualified personnel to meet the increasing demands of the shipping industry, while still maintaining the same commitment to excellence.
